LIVE, in-person: Pathways Through Play: A Two-Day Infant and Early Childhood Play Therapy Training

In early childhood, play, behavior, and relationships reveal what young children are experiencing before they have the words to tell us. This two-day training explores how development, attachment, trauma, and caregiver experiences shape a child’s ability to regulate, connect, and play. Through real-world cases, reflection, and hands-on practice, participants will learn to recognize what children and caregivers bring into the playroom, choose developmentally appropriate child-led and dyadic interventions, and thoughtfully integrate caregivers into treatment. Participants will leave with practical tools for using play and the parent-child relationship to support healing and lasting change.

Objectives

• Identify developmentally expected play and relational capacities from infancy through early childhood.
